Child Care

Treehouse Children's Program Intern Learn More Button

Treehouse Children's Program Intern Position Description:

Responsibilities include teaching our youngest guests to ski by assisting in snow play and Ridgley's Rippers, Mountain Explorers, and Mountain Mornings ski programs. The Treehouse offers daily programs for children ages 2 1/2 - 12 years of age. Interns will assist in supervision and activity planning for children of all ages. Interns are given a variety of opportunities to experience the real challenges of the day to day operations of a commercial resort's licensed children's program, including programming, scheduling, check-in and check-out, budgeting, and staff supervision. Interns are paid $8.00 per hour and average 40 hours per week. Additional income opportunities are available through babysitting, conference events, and other activities. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. To be qualified students must be registered in an accredited intern program at the college or university they are attending. Previous experience working with children is preferred. First Aid and CPR certification are also preferred. Position will begin in early December and run through mid-March. Treehouse Ski Counselor Learn More Button

Treehouse Ski Counselor Position Description:

Teaches ski lessons to children ages 2 1/2 to 12 years old Responsibilities include setting skis, setting up and tearing down terrain garden daily, and maintaining communication with parents. Must be at least 16 years old and an intermediate skier. Previous child care experience is preferred. Position will begin in ealry December and run through mid-March.

Key Responsibilities: Responsible for greeting all guests, loading and unloading golf clubs, and parking guest vehicles. Must help maintain clubhouse parking lot, front drive area, cart staging area and other guest areas. The GSA also maintains inventory of golf carts and rental clubs. Key Skills: Requires professionalism, the capacity to deliver a high level of guest service, job flexibility, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. GSA must also effectively communicate with staff, members, and guests. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs & must have a valid driver's license. Lifts

Lift/Adventure Attendant Learn More Button

Lift/Adventure Attendant Position Description:

Responsible for assisting guests with ski lifts, tubing park operations and Discovery Ridge activities. Will prepare the lifts and tubing parks for opening, maintain lift ramps throughout the work day, ensure safe loading/unloading of lifts, maintain tubing lanes, and will communicate resort rules to guests. Responsibilities also include operating the chair lift, Bungee-Trampoline, and staffing the climbing wall. Also may assist with customer check-in. Must be flexible and able to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays. Must be able tow work outside in all types of weather conditions. Customer service and safety is top priority in this position. Required to be at least 17 years of age. Full and Part-time seasonal positions available. Snowsports School

Ski/Snowboard Instructor Learn More Button

Ski/Snowboard Instructor Position Description:

Snowsports School Instructors not only teach ski and snowboard lessons, they help develop new skiers and riders, improve the skills of current skiers and riders, and most importantly, they get to spread their passion of skiing and snowboarding to our guests. Provides safe reliable transportation and assists with the range of transportation services offered for guests. Must be able to sit in a vehicle for long periods of time. Parking Attendants are responsible for controlling the flow of traffic and assisting arriving guests during the busy ski season. In this position, you will place parking signs and barricades throughout the resort, monitor parking in restricted areas, and provide accurate directions to guests.
